Our activities include research projects, consultancies, seminars, meetings and workshops, a line of publications in which the Lua Nova magazine stands out and the promotion of events.
In addition to activities, our performance is covered by several other types of actions. We focus on topics such as human rights and social justice, among others.

Cedec has carried out, throughout its history, several consultancy activities for governments and civil society organizations.
PUBLICATIONS
Since 1984, Cedec has edited Lua Nova – Revista de Cultura e Política, one of the main scientific journals in the area of Social Sciences. He is also responsible for Cadernos Cedec, a publication in which research results from the center are published.
